DESIGNING YOUR SOAP BAR​

So far you have accomplished at lot. You have selected the type shape, type and size of your soap bar. You have probably needed help calculating with the weight and dimensions of your soap bar. And we have talked about the importance of product branding your soap bar by adding your name and/or logo on the bar.

Hopefully, you have contacted us to ask for your free quotation.  And a member of our Team has explained fully our terms to get started and information regarding the final shipment. At this point you have given your approval to your soap bar as to what it looks like on paper.

Now, it is our time to get to work creating a prototype or model of your design in our plaster shop.  We create your working model in gypsum plaster.  Why plaster?  We want a medium that we can cut and polish. Unlike wood, plaster does not have grain when polished.  3-D printing leaves too many ridges on the surface.

​We use hand tools to cut the shape of the soap bar.  Using electric power equipment might be faster but there is always the danger of creating hair-line cracks in the gypsum.

Before engraving your company name or logo, the soap bar is highly polished to eliminate any and all scratches on the surface of the bar.
