As exciting as it sounds, you now have a wonderful opportunity to create your own brand of soap bar. Under 'Getting Started', we have discussed the various types, sizes and shapes your soap bar could be designed. We also discussed some styling techniques using different edges and corners. And we discussed different weights of your soap bar and different dimensions of your soap bar. So let's discuss the use of your company name, company logo, or artwork to enhance your soap bar design. We are really talking about branding your soap bar -- giving your soap bar a name -- a recognizable name of your company or company logo. A soap bar that has instant value in the eyes of your customer. Branding is the way we recognize products. Without a name or logo on any product, there is no recognition -- no need to stop to glance or admire you soap bar design. Whether it is someone enjoying your bar of soap that they discovered at a friend's place; or enjoy seeing your bar of soap while browsing on an E-store shopping site; or shopping at local mall and recognizing your bar of soap, -- we, as consumers, have a curiosity to know who made this wonderful product, how it was made, and how we can make a purchase. It is quite easy to use the Internet to search a product name and where we can make a purchased. But search efforts don't matter, if your soap bar is not recognized as a branded named product. A product well-made is worthy of its name. Establishing your brand name soap enhances your company's name for all your products. Sometimes a brand name could focus on special ingredients used in the soap formula. Or sometimes a brand name could focus on a hand-written family soap recipe. There are other ways you can use to feature your soap as a brand name product. Sometimes a product that has a 'story' is easier to market. So when the company establishes a brand, they are working to expand information of their other products which helps expand traffic, as well as illustrate different uses for their products. |
